SEMYO Fundraiser: Rent-A-Musician
The leaves are falling, the garden has given its bounty, the patio furniture has seen a lot of use, and all of this means fall clean up. SEMYO musicians are here to help with outdoor tasks this fall in our first Rent-a-Musician event! You can reserve a group of musicians to help with a multitude of outdoor tasks including:
- Raking and bagging leaves
- Trimming and Mowing (only 15+ with experience can use power tools)
- Cutting and bagging perennials (only 15+ with experience can cut)
- Planting Bulbs
- Cleaning Outdoor Furniture
- Pick up and stow seasonal outdoor decor
- Put out seasonal decor (no ladders)
- Pulling weeds
- Other chores as appropriate
Please note that our students will not be allowed to use a ladder, lift anything unreasonably heavy, and only older students with experience may use power tools and mowers. Equipment must be provided by the homeowner. Student crews will be asked to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
Depending on your needs we will send between 2-4 students and younger students will be accompanied by an adult.
Student crews are available on October 10, 11, 17, & 18 either in the morning or afternoon. The suggested fee is $30 for 1-2 hours or $60 for 2-4 hours. If interested please do the following:
1. Fill out and submit the form at the bottom of this page.
2. Purchase your SEMYO crew online or mail payment to SEMYO, Suite 450, 1001 14th ST NW, Rochester, 55901. When paying online please choose between 1-2 or 2-4 hours. If you like to make an additional contribution please consider also making a donation. Your purchase and donation will contribute to our fall It’s Instrumental Event and our goal of raising $20, 000 for SEMYO.
After your reservation, you will be contacted to confirm your need and to let you know what to expect. Please make your reservation by Friday, October 2.
